That's the best theory to what's happening I've heard. There is dust all over the room there kept in am always dusting there lids etc. I've tried hard to find mites on the ants but I don't see any. And there white so I should be able to spot them. They look like dandruff and the adults are big white...
Only the last few days have I been finding mite on there dead foods after 24h. Wonder why

Ok so far I have locked the ants in there nests. And filled there outworlds with boiling water and let dry. And still can not see any on the ants. Why's that ?????
