Royal Mail just delivered them. So why was there tracking number showing in Russia I don't think DHL could run a bath without help!! I don't care I have them now Happy again!

In most cases the existing colony will adopt them as their own thus increasing your colony faster.

Looking at that I would say no. And personally I wouldn't put it anywhere near my ants.
Antkit.uk sell a vial of PTFE that I swear by and it's really effective

For mammals like mice or rats it might even work. For insects it wont work, i can promise you that. If the mites were harmful they would be sitting on your ants by now. These are usual dust mites.
