Soon I will be conducting research into the behaviour of a five Queen Lasius flavus colony and a three Queen Lasius flavus colony. Lasius flavus Queen coalitions work quite well to the point that some colonies could even be polygynous!

Yes, I believe the test tube setup is the best for young colonies with fully claustral Queens. I have all my 29 in test tubes.

Could not agree more. I think it's disgusting that these things are still on the market. I was doing a bug show last week and the amount of kids who wanted the gel farms was unreal. They should do something about the Gel ant farms. They were only supposed to be used for workers when they were sent ...
