Seems to of vanished but he was asking something about an alate and what will happen to it so I replied saying the ant will probably be killed

So an update on the colony...

The male alate was killed by the colony. They clipped his wings one day, then killed him a day or two later.

I fed them a big juicy house fly today and​ they went crazy! They usually have fruit flies or other insects but caught this big fly and they couldn't get enough. Video later...

The colony is growing nicely from what I can see. There is a ridiculous amount of brood. There is hundreds and hundreds of eggs and larvae. The pile is huge, it's really hard to show in the pictures but the egg mountain is 5-10x the size of the queen and it's only getting bigger. I can't believe the queen can lay this amount, she must be non stop.
