Hi I live in the north of england and my 100+ worker colony of myrmica rubra are starting to slow down alot! They are rarely accepting food and still have a big pile of larvae!

So my questions are...

1. How do i get them all into the nest for hibernation?

2. Will the larvae be ok in hibernation?

3. When should i put them in and out and at what tempurature?

A quick reply would be handy!

Thanks

They will do that on their own. When the time is right they will just all hug together.

Yes. Only Formica species hibernate without larvae.

Antstore says from October to March at 5-8°C. I'd wait until they're all huddled together and them put them into the cold. Just make sure you don't shockfreeze them, give them some time to adapt by repeatedly exposing them to cold temperatures for short periods (like keeping them next to an open window).
When they hibernate make sure the nest doesn't dry out, Myrmica needs it rather moist.
Are there any antshops in Seoul ?

for buying what?
